SchooliP, NAEE and NGA together provide a free online tool to help governing boards adopt environmental sustainability as a strategic priority and for leaders to develop climate action plans.
The Climate Ambassadors scheme is scheme led collaboratively by the University of Reading and STEM Learning which aims to improve the climate education of young people and help guide schools and colleges on their path to Net Zero.
The Education Alliance - Made up of primary and secondary schools, this multi academy trust has 11 schools and has prioritised environmental sustainability as one of their core objectives. Read their sustainability strategy.
Emma Knights OBE, Former Chief Executive
After 14 years with NGA, Emma has departed from her role as Chief Executive. During her tenure, Emma was a strong advocate for the school governance community, engaging with legislators, policymakers, education sector organisations, and the media on a national level.
Megan Tate, Policy and Research Officer
Megan’s role involves supporting NGA’s policy, research and information team. She is responsible for policy relating to the environment and sustainability.
