Programme description

Governing boards need to ensure that pupils can make the most of their time at school by optimising resources to deliver strong outcomes through a suitable curriculum. Done well this can support the achievement of an ambitious vision and better life chances for all pupils. Done poorly it can result in unrealistic expectations, a failed vision and insolvency. A key optimisation tool is integrated curriculum and financial planning (ICFP) and there is increased emphasis on its use by DfE.
